Our Team


Paul Benedict

Paul has worked in the dental industry since 1989. He is experienced in model work, waxing frameworks for crowns and bridges, and metal finishing for adaptation of porcelain. Paul has experience in lab management as well as quality control and the teaching of duplication and fabrication processes to make laminate veneers. Paul and his wife, Susan, teach deaf and handicapped dental laboratory technology and they also own their own gun and ammo business. We are happy to have such an experienced technician working here at American Dental Laboratory.


Andre LuJan

Andre started with American Dental Laboratory in the model department. He has progressed to the position of colorist/ceramist. Andre is a published poet along with being a professional freelance artist. His favorite hobby is being a novice paleontologist. He just this year discovered and recovered the remains of a pre-historic fish dating 28-65 million years old. Andre has given part of himself back to his community by executing a 50 yard mural for the City of Desoto and by designing and hosting and educational program for children at the Desoto Public Library this summer. Andre says his favorite thing about his job is being an artist that really makes a difference by giving people the courage to smile again.


Lan Le

Lan is a ceramist. She graduated in 2004 with honors from the LSU School of Dentistry where she held the position of class president for DLT in 2002. She is certified in Ceramco porcelain, Vita porcelain, Noritake porcelain, and Belle Glass. She also has experience in model work, opaque, stain and glazing. Lan has been with American Dental Laboratory for 3 ½ years.


Eugene Goddard

Gene has been a dental lab technician since 1979. He was certified in crown and bridge in 1992 from the University of Texas Health and Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. He has educated himself and studied in Inlay-Onlay Technik with Master Dental Technician, Thomas Schmidt, Sterngold-Implamed Advanced Prosthetics, Posterior Tooth Morphology with C.D.T. Russell DeVreugd, Captek, and since he has been here at American Dental Laboratory he has been P.T.C. trained in the contouring of posterior bridgework by C.D.T. Felix Silva.


Steve Hoffnagle

Steve graduated from Southwest College Institute for the Deaf in May 1990. He is a certified dental laboratory technician. He has worked with American Dental Laboratory for 12 years. He is a master ceramist in Lava, Cercon, and Implants. He was P.T.C. Certified in 2004 for simplifying posterior dental work. He is currently the supervisor for the ceramist department at ADL.


Sharon Santamaria

Sharon was born and raised in Central Texas and is now a happy resident of the Dallas area (Sachse). She has been happily married to Jose for 36 years with two terrific children and one fantastic grandson. Sharon and her husband have owned their own martial arts business that teaches life skills since 1966 which leads to her background of management and customer service. She has been with the lab since April, 2006. She is know the accounts manager and helps to insure professional customer service from ADL to its clientele.


Sandra Lopez

Sandra worked as an Administrative Assistant for three years and has over seven years of experience in the customer relations/customer service fields. Sandra has been happily married for 15 years and has three fantastic children. She has only been a Texas resident since July, 2006. Sandra keeps our laboratory on a tight schedule and makes sure her bubbly personality is passed on to our clientele.


John Kimzey

John has been with American Dental Laboratory for 7 ½ years. He is responsible for the pick-up and delivery of our cases to our clientele. John is a lifelong resident of this area. He really enjoys watching and playing sports.
